Our Center offers a learning program in a self-paced environment. They learn what they need to be successful students in kindergarten and beyond. Our curriculum includes
- Language and Literacy - We encourage and promote reading through a variety of activities and students are introduced to letters and phonics concepts.
- Math Skills - Sorting, Grouping, Counting and Number Recognition.
- Social/Emotional Skills - Encouraging children to talk, share, listen, take turns, and develop good manners. They are encouraged to engage with other students for good interpersonal skill development.
- Creativity and Imagination - Creative play, music and art activities encourage children to highlight their creativity and individual strengths and interests.
- Physical Development - Developing Large Motor Skills, jumping, running, kicking, throwing, and Fine Motor Skills through things like writing, drawing, cutting and other activities Science/Social Studies- Helping children to learn about the world around them through many different ways. Like water play cooking and learning about other cultures and countries.
- Play - Is a child's work they learn and develop many of the skills mentioned above through both creative and structured play time. Flourishing while discovering who they are.
School Age
Before and After School Care and a Fulltime summer program are available. We have a program to encourage both social and academic development. A Safe Structured place for your child to stay while you are at work.
After school when they arrive at the center they are provided a snack and time to socialize with their friends. There is then time devoted for them to work on homework with staff available to assist them in this process. We encourage independent work but are glad to give a helping hand. It is not just a place to hang out after school. It is a structured program to encourage them to foster relationships as well as promote education through fun activities
