2011 Christian Service Award21th Annual Christian Service AwardsChristian Social Services of Illinois will be seeking nominations for the 21th Annual Christian Service Awards. Individuals nominated should live or serve in the Metro-East (Belleville) Regional area (Clinton, Monroe, Randolph, St. Clair, and Washington counties). The awards will be presented at a benefit dinner event on Friday, April 29, 2011. Christian Service Award GuidelinesThe recipients of the Christian Service Awards are nominated by members of the community. Nominations will be considered regardless of religious affiliation. Up to three awards are normally given to outstanding individuals that reflect the mission and spirit of Christian Social Services through their contributions in one or more of the following areas: faith-related service; community service; youth mentoring; advocacy; direct service to those in need; activity in community organizations, volunteerism, and/or fundraising. Christian Social Services is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to be a visible expression of God's love by responding to the human needs of the people of Southern Illinois and by promoting a just and caring community for men, women, and children of all backgrounds.
